It's summer. Summer means Folkfest and Folkfest means music and beers. It's the best four days of the year.
A few years ago I saw Martha Wainwright for the first time on one of the small Folkfest stages. She was wearing a cute white mini-skirt, a white jacket, white knee-high boots, and a mint green scarf. I managed to snag a copy of her CD and have her autograph it that day.
She's coming back to folkfest this year and I'm looking forward to it. If you aren't familiar with her music watch this video. It's fantastic, and so is she.
