The Folkfest (thus far...)

Bobby and I arrived at 6:45pm. The folkfest starts at 6. The lineup to get in snaked around the block several times, down another block, across the street, and back up again. We didn't get in until 8pm and the reason we got in at 8 is because a security guard redeemed our tickets cause someone figured the lineup was absurdly long and something needed to be done about it. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been 8:30.

Other than the long line everything was cool. It's the funnest four days of the year and I'm really glad that Gary's there this year. It will be awesome.

The only other thing I have to complain about is the douche that sat behind us as we watched the main stage. You see, our fold up chairs are totally folkfest standard (we bought them there) but the guy behind Bobby was complaining that our chairs were too high. I think he was just mad that we weren't on our tarp for most of the night and then showed up at the end.

He's a jerk.

Despite my complaints I look forward to the rest of the weekend. Martha Wainwright is my hero. Hawksley Workman sucks.
